This July the Solent will be the focus for a resurgence in the UK’s interest in classic yachts; for two weeks the Solent will be a spectacle of classic yacht racing with 3 regattas held in conjunction with each other. The British Classic Yacht Club & Spirit Yachts Regatta is being hosted by the Royal Corinthian Yacht Club over 14-21 July and is running alongside the International 6 Metre World Championships (16-23 July), and immediately prior to the International Metre Association Centenary Celebrations held at the Royal Yacht Squadron (22-27 July)
